STATEMENT OF FAITH THE SCRIPTURE BOTH THE OLD AND THE NEW TESTAMENTS AS THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD AND AS THE SUPREME AND FINAL AUTHORITYIN FAITH AND LIFE. GOD ETERNALLY EXISTING IN THREE PERSONS,FATHER SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. IN THE RESURRECTION AND ASCENSION OF THE CRUCIFIED SAVIOR, WHO NOW ACTS AS OUR HIGH PRIEST AND ADVOCATE WITH GOD THE FATHER. GOD'S SON, JESUS CHRIST, WAS BORN OF THE VIRGIN MARY, DIED ON THE CROSS FOR MAN'S SINS, AND ROSE AGAIN ON THE THIRD DAY. WE BELIEVE IN ONE BAPTISM BY THE ONE SPIRIT INTO ONE BODY. MAN CAN ONLY BE SAVED, HAVE ETERNAL LIFE IN HEAVEN WITH GOD, BY REPENTING OF SIN, AND BY FAITH, ACCEPTING JESUS CHRIST AS HIS LORD AND SAVIOR. THIS SALVATION IS PROVIDED BY THE GRACE OF GOD. MAN CANNOT BE SAVED THROUGH HIS OWN EFFORTS OR WORKS.
PERSONAL TESTIMONY My name is Susan Jacob. I was born in Malaysia and lived there in the midst of Muslims for many years. Later on, my parents decided to move to India. There the Hindus serve, 333,000,000 gods. However, it was in India that I received Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. At that time I was teaching young people in high school. Going through difficult times and suffering persecution for my Christian faith did not stop me from loving and servng the Lord! "FOR I AM CONVINCED THAT NEITHER DEATH NOR LIFE, NEITHER ANGELS NOR DEMONS NEITHER THE PRESENT NOR THE FUTURE, NOR ANY POWERS, NEITHER HEIGHT NOR DEPTH NOR ANYTHING ELSE IN ALL CREATION, WILL BE ABLE TO SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD THAT IS IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD." ROMANS 8:38,39
EDUCATION By God's grace I have earned the following degrees: B.A., B.Ed., (MYSORE AND BANGALORE UNIVERSITY, INDIA), A DEGREE IN CHRISTIAN STUDIES AND MINISTRIES(TABOR COLLEGE, AUSTRAIA) MASTER OF SCIENCE IN BIBLE (PHILADELPHIA COLLEGE OF BIBLE NOW PHILADELPHIA BIBLICAL UNIVERSITY) M.DIV, (EVANGELICAL THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY AND COLUMBIA INTERNATIONAL SEMINARY), DOCTORATE IN MINISTRY (COLUMBIA INTERNATIONAL SEMINARY AND FLORIDA THEOLOGIAL SEMINARY).
ORDINATION I was ordained to the work of the Gospel Ministry by the authority of the Synod of the Fellowship Deaconry, Inc. The Lord has called men and women to share the Gospel and to make it known to all mankind that Jesus was born on this earth, that He died, risen again, and He is alive forevrmore!
COMMISSIONED The Lord Jesus Christ called me to serve Him. The lives and service of the Sisters (Deaconesses) of the Fellowship Deaconry had a great influence and impact on my life. I requested permission to join them and to serve them and to serve the Lord with them. In December 1999 I was commissioned to establish a community of Christians who want to serve the Lord in various capacities. My heart is filled with gratitude to the Lord and to the leadership of the Fellowship Deaconry. This "new branch" is to develop and grow under the guidance and with the help of God and in complete reliance on Him.
FELLOWSHIP DEACONRY INC In 1929 two deaconesses came from Germany to minister to the German immigrants in this country, many of whom were homesick. A good number of them came to know the Lord Jesus as their Savior. In 1933 several acres of land were bought in Liberty Corner, New Jersey, and the Fellowship Deaconry was established. God called young women to serve Him as deaconesses. These deaconesses have dedicated themselves to the Lord and are committed to serve Him as they minister in various ways, Ministries: Guest and Retreat, Day Camp Sunshine, Chapels, Missions...As in the days of the Prophets, the Lord is still looking for people - men and women, young and old - to committ themselves to Him, to serve Him, and to "stand in the gap" (Ezek. 22:30).
"SERVING THE LORD IN DIFFERENT AREAS" SERVING THE LORD AT THE FELLOWSHIP CONFERENCE CENTER IN DIFFERENT AREAS AND WHERVER THE NEED ARISES, THE SERVICES ARE ALWAYS AVAILABLE. THERE ARE OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE THE LORD AT THE CONFERENCE CENTER.
